Three days is enough to see Malta’s highlights without rushing: one day of culture, one on the water, and one on Gozo. Here’s how to spend it.

Day 1 — Valletta & the Three Cities

Start in the capital. A morning walking tour covers St John’s Co-Cathedral, the Upper Barrakka Gardens and the Grand Harbour view.

In the afternoon, cross the harbour to the Three Cities — quieter, atmospheric and full of history.

Day 2 — Comino & the Blue Lagoon

Spend the day on the water. A cruise to the Blue Lagoon and Comino’s caves is the most popular day out in Malta — go early to beat the crowds.

Day 3 — Gozo
